23 May, 2014 The Asia Institute of Sciences hosted a three-day workshop in which visiting doctors and students from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee once again shared with our students their experiences in the fields of nursing and midwifery.

One of the Belmont students, Jennifer Austin, said that she was impressed with how hard our students work.

When shown rows of computers, she said it was a good idea to use them for computer-based multiple choice examination. When told that the students served medical placement and internships at national and international hospitals in Phnom Penh and the provinces, Miss Austin nodded her head approvingly. As she was leaving Jenny Austin said she hopes to return next year.

One of our midwifery students, Miss Neang Karona, said this was the first time she’d exchanged experiences with foreign students and she found it rewarding and hoped the visit would continue.
