Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

 

1. Course objective

To prepare nurse students with the appropriate knowledge, skills and attitudes to provide health services in line with the policies, guidelines and quality standard of the Ministry of Health.

 

2. Learning outcomes

Graduates from this 3-year program will:

  • Work competently, especially at the front line of health services.
  • Show a positive attitude and respect for people regardless of economic status, customs and beliefs.
  • Apply the nursing process with quality of care to patients, families and the community by using evidence-based approach.
  • Consult with other health professionals when nursing and midwifery practice/care requires additional expertise.
  • Use the primary health care approach to meet basic health needs in the community and promote safe motherhood and responsible parenthood.
  • Apply teamwork approach.
