Bachelor of Science in Midwifery
(Upgraded from Associate Degree of Midwifery)
1. Background
The course is designed in line with capabilities framework for the Cambodian Midwifery Profession (CMC). It aims to train midwifery students based on three domains of CMC 1. knowledge 2. Practice and knowledge and 3. professional ethical behavior, professional standards set out by the Cambodian Ministry of Health and CMC.
2. Course objective
The upgraded bachelor of midwifery aims to train graduates of associate degree of midwifery to equip with appropriate knowledge and behavior to provide quality maternal and child health care.
